Net = gross × (1 − rate/100). The rate is whatever you type. There are no hidden bands, allowances, or student-loan fields on this page.

  • The tax rate you enter is the effective rate for the same period as the salary.
  • No country tax code, NI, or state withholding is applied automatically.
  • Rounding follows ordinary decimal multiplication.

  • Not a P60, W-2, or personal tax return.
  • Not a substitute for /tools/salary-after-tax-calculator-uk or the US state tools.
  • Payroll software will differ if your real deductions are not captured in one rate.
