The page requests rates from the configured provider and multiplies. If the feed is down, the tool says so instead of inventing a number.

converted = amount × rate(from → to)

Hypothèses

  • Mid-market, not a retail bid/ask.
  • No weekend or bank-spread adjustment unless the feed includes it.

Limites

  • Not an FX trade.
  • Airport bureaux often charge several percent more than mid-market.
